Re[2]: some hairy questions

while tracking down the changing effect of parameters i found the
follwing.
it seems to  happen only with hairs from curves.
-i change the parameter(strand multipl. kink),
-i touch the curve (move point tool)
and all the hair jumps back to standard setting.
but only in the look of it, not the actual numbers in the hair ppg.
seems like a bug to me, if anyone can confirm this...
