1. Get Icosahedron
2. Select all points
3. ctrl+D to extrude
4. adjust skirting ratio to about .35
5. delete points
6. Increase Sub-div level or Make a new Subdiv poly from it.

Hiya  we need to do a little presentation to people of who don’t really know what 3D is. And what better to show how to make a soccer ball!

 

No really, I recall seeing a tutorial showing how to make a soccer ball in XSI in a very few simple steps. Anyone knows where I can find it ? I’ll be happy even with a tennis ball, basketball, whatever….
