I was a bit surprised that there were no new super cool poly tools or
some
innovations in the animations area now that Helge is working for SI and
(forgive my memory) - that  person who implemented CAT - also joined SI.
Of course they haven't been there long enough but I can only impagine
what
these two individuals plus the existing SI crew can do.
Times are looking really good.

however, after all those long lists in the last few updates this one
reads a
hell of a lot more like a 3dsmax update list.  so my answer to that is
there
is room for particles, pelt mapping, some new shaders on that list along
with the shaders ball and other stuff.  so whatever the reason this one
is
smaller i blame faceRobot and/or autodesk buying maya :)
