*Provide a 64bit version of Foundation, unify the licensing
scheme so it may also run on an ess/adv Dongle, add $175 to
adress that cost but in exchange let people run it on all flavours
of windows and linux, take it with them, dualboot, swap, etc...
Before this occurs they should be providing linux customers - who are
spending the money on advanced licenses with 64bit. It's a shame to
see another thing added to the list of areas where XSI is last to the
party. Linux is a supported platform, if Soft wish to claim this it
should be fully supported, as windows is. We pay the same licensing
fees so we deserve the same service.
Anyway - that's just my opinion I'm sure the majority of the userbase
will justify Softimage continuing to ignore their black sheep
platform.
Cheers,
Alan.
