Subject : Select Edge loop/ring

Hello List,

Is there a way to selct edge loop. ring via scripting?

At home I was ale to create a few macro/scripts using the ultra slick RCTools but when I try to select edge loop using XSI defaults I dont get any line in the script editor I could steal...

It is visible that I know very litle of scripting but still I wanna create my fast tools... If you guys can help me I thank you loads:)
