Hi Rob,

I´ve the dotxsi plug-in installed on Maya 6.01, it´s
quite a while since I did that, the files installed here
(disk:\Alias\Maya6\bin\plug-ins\...) are dated at
11.10.2004, 14:10, dotXSI4Maya.mll, dotXSI4Maya.lib,
and dotXSI4Maya.exp. I´m not sure wether this is
the latest version available but they worked fine
together with XSI 5/5.01. Haven´t used them with 5.11 yet
nor installed any stuff on Maya 8 yet (never change a running...)

In case you´d need the files I guess it´d be o.k. to send
them over to you, on my disk is another *.zip conatining
a dotXSI4MayaSL.mll and a dotXSIExpOptionsSL.mel
*.zip dated 05.10.2005, guess that´s what you´ve got?
The *.mel would go to the users scripts directory then.

Cheers

tim

Hi,

I found the compiled dotxsi 1.4 plugin voor maya 6.5 (thanks bernard) but am in a los how to install this. Can someone that use both XSI and Maya help me out where to put the .exp,.lib, .mll and .mel file.
I browsed the net for a bit, but only some stuff about creating and linking to c:\foo folders is to be found and the rest is about compiling so far.
Does all this has to go in the Maya install dir, or in the maya user profile??
