Hehe, Indeed.
I wouldn't choose tiff myself, but our flame ops seem to prefer it. Boujou can't read the Nuke tiffs either. I think we need to switch our standard image format :-) But it'd still be nice to have XSI read all file types and compressions.
Also it would be nice to have some output options in Nuke, but that's for another list :p

That's a shame since, IMO, tiffs can be a total headache. I think it's
a pretty loose standard so there are many subtly different formats
that fit under the "tiff" umbrella. It leads to stuff like program "A"
can read tiffs from program "B", but not "C" unless this checkbox is
on, but "B" can read from "C" regardless and export them for "A", and
blah blah blah.
