I highly recommend SGI files as the prefeered file format. It's
"bullet proof".... but that of course needs that you have an actual
option to use them :)

They import into flame just as fast as Tiff files, and you dont need
to worry about 1000 gizillion different versions of Tiff and each
software tends to use.

poke the D2 people and make them fix the output node :)

I wouldn't choose tiff myself, but our flame ops seem to prefer it. Boujou
can't read the Nuke tiffs either. I think we need to switch our standard
image format :-) But it'd still be nice to have XSI read all file types and
compressions.
Also it would be nice to have some output options in Nuke, but that's for
another list :p
