Perhaps because not so many people have used XSIMAN in production just
yet. If people here on the list have some renderman experience it's
either with
1.) in house tools
2.) Mtor
3.) Liquid
4.) misc maya related
I wouldn't personally put it in production just yet, it's still in
Beta and from what I gather from the XSIbase thread a lot of new
functionality is still being added. Download it and give it a test run
for a few weeks and see what your own conclusions are. After that
perhaps a more giving discussion around it could be made (instead of a
general "is it any good").

Affogato has been added to this list, where does it stand? Is it still in
development? ETA?
Is there a reliable recipe to get XSI scenes rendered with RenderMan? Which
recipe holds the highest probability of success?
