You can motion blur a realflow object without problems (in a perfect world of course).
Just turn on deform motion blur and evaluate motion blur at shutter speed.

Should work with the 'great' realflow xsi operator...

Hi Jesper,

isn´t the realflow stuff retesselated meshes per frame,?
That would mean you can´t compute the vertextransformation
per frame into a texture but would have to resort to use
the RSMB standard version (without extra vectors as input),
on that part of the image. I find the standard version gives
great results often enough (cutting on the need to render vectors).

Cheers

Subject: Getting correct motion vectors from a RealFlow mesh

Hi,

Im trying to get correct motion vectors from a RealFlow mesh to use with
RealSmart Motion Blur.
Im using the Im2DMV_2 motion vector shader and it work like a charm with
everything but the RealFlow meshes.
The vectors are all over the place. Feels like I´ve tried everything

Does anyone know of another way of getting the vectors out of XSI.

Best regards
