Okay I found the problem.
1- I was trying to capture the wrong viewport
2- that wrong viewport actually invisible because of another view
being vertically maximized.

Trying to sort that problem, I stumbled on a few other problems.

1- When I perform a GetAttributeValue( 'activecamera' ) on the
individual view of the ViewManager, all I get is None. Perhaps I'm
doing something wrong here?

2- More disturbingly, when I run the command GetViewCamera on the
views, the view that has an Explorer returns the camera name. This
confuses my script, as I'm trying to find out in what viewport is a
specific camera being used. Any suggestion?

Thanks
Bernard

PS: Rob, I have not looked at your suggestion. The problem is that I HAVE to output AVI, nothing else. --- Unsubscribe? Mail Majordomo(at)Softimage.COM with the following text in body: unsubscribe xsi
