Pixar did use Behavior AFAIK but I think only because Massive wasn't
developed enough at the time when they started those crowd shots. I
know very little about both but I've observed both in action and Massive
seems much easier and robust from what I saw. Also, when MR becomes a
bit more robust in Massive, I can see that becoming a nail in the coffin
for Behavior. I'm not knocking Behavior....obviously it can do what its
built for but with mixed pipelines becoming so popular today, I have a
hard time seeing anyone opt for Behavior over Massive given its larger
user base, ease of use and flexibility with rendering.

I heard the exact opposite from sources close to Pixar (that is, that
Behavior was not used). Anyway I guess it will be hard to get passed
the NDAs covering those topics.
UbiSoft Montreal uses it a lot for its crowds, they've used in battle
sequences of Prince of Persia, as well as in Assassin Creed (sorry if
I got the spelling wrong).

I heard it was used in Cars for the crowd in the stadium. I don't
know if
they used Mental Ray or if they develop something to export rib file
from
behaviour ???
Otherwise, we used it for cartoon crowd in the Fantastic 4 TV series
(Antefilms Studio). Nothing fancy, just hundreds of peoples walking
in the
streets of New York city.
Merry Christmas and Happy New 2007 !
