See this is one of our issues. We've been considering upgrading to Advanced for some time - but it seems the only things Advanced offers is Behavior, Syflex and Hair. Take Behavior out of the equation, and we're left with Syflex and Hair - not sure if thats worth the extra purchase price, plus 3x the maintenance fee. We'd like these options, to be sure, but the price differential seems a bit out of whack given what you get for that price. Seems Soft should be taking another look at their price structure.

Pixar did use Behavior AFAIK but I think only because Massive wasn't developed enough at the time when they started those crowd shots. I know very little about both but I've observed both in action and Massive
seems much easier and robust from what I saw. Also, when MR becomes a bit more robust in Massive, I can see that becoming a nail in the coffin for Behavior. I'm not knocking Behavior....obviously it can do what its
built for but with mixed pipelines becoming so popular today, I have a hard time seeing anyone opt for Behavior over Massive given its larger user base, ease of use and flexibility with rendering.
