Cheers all for the replies and tips.

Found some good plastic balls  in a decorating store close by the 
office, and also found some nice chrome garden spheres for a reasonable 
price too.
Only thing is how to bring all this stuff on the plane.
Bagagecheck: "So... You say you want to do- WHAT- with these spheres???"
