Got a copy of XSI 6 lying around?  New zipper force in there that you might be able to use and cache out.  Worth a shot.

The mute toggle on syflex forces/constraints seems to do absolutely
nothing (5.11). I know syFlex updates itself at weird times but I
can't get anything to switch off predictably.

If I actually delete the constraint operator while the simulation is
playing then I get the behavior I want. The fact that this works is
simultaneously both impressive and sad.

Anyone have any ideas? I am trying to simulate a tear in a very simple
cloth mesh.
I thought about making a custom force but I get linker errors trying
to compile even the example from the sdk on syflex.biz, and given my
experience with programming that's an omen of doom.
