The compositing is done in Avid Nitris.
Tho't Avid and Softimage goes pretty friendly but the glow seems to be
Softimage environment only kinda thing.

How are you currently compositing the passes? Using XSI, or some other
app? You will need to be sure you are doing an additive composite if the
sources are premultiplied, or doing a subtractive composite if they are
not.
Another thing you might try for glows is to composite them in using
Screen or Add mode. All of these things are done a little differently
depending on the compositing app. (These are probably more compositing
Q's for compositing lists/forums, but since XSI has a built-in
compositor...)
