Yea, this is exactly what I am doing right now.
Had been using and actually loving glow till now but I now caught on
that most of the scenes I used glow in
were all CG seq and not composited glowing seq.

Thanks for the confirming tip though.

Hello Eriya - If I recall, the internal glow shader does not output an
alpha that will give you a proper composite.  It's a little bit of a
workaround, but you should get your desired result if you render your
glow seperately from your objects, then composite the glow using a
screen or additive transfer (ignoring its alpha channel)
