You may find this useful - if you have multiple commands and properties for
a toolset you can put them all into one self-installing plug-in structure.
Have a look at Helge's marvellous MT_RIGZ system for an example.

Jep, found the Property generator, have been using it blindly to create
Commands only so far...
Thanks!

In the plugin manager, open up a workgroup as far as the plugins section.
Right click on it and use 'new' to kick off the wizard. It's a much more
reliable way to get a plugin going.

Ok, just found the Self-Installing Property...

Hey all,
looking at the SDK I'm currently a little bit puzzled. I'd like to
have a self installing plugin to generate a rather complex custom
property set, with lot's of fancy layouting. Last time I did
something
along this line I wrote an SPDL for the CPS and called it from a
script to attach it to the object of choice (years ago).
Nowadays, I thought, using PPGLayout on the fly from the script which
generates the CPS should be the way to go. Unfortunately the layout
is
not saved with the scene, making it a good looking one-time only
event. Does this mean I have to revert to SPDL writing or is there
some fancy way to make this work?
Cheers for a few bits of enlightenment!
