I must say that I rarely change it. The region is made to preview things as
you work. The faster it renders, the faster you work. I think 0.2 is a good
optimisation.
Perhaps it's a generation thing. The old guys who worked on slow SGI
machines tend to keep their UI more optimised (they still work in
wireframe). The young guys are often in texture mode and preview their work
with motion blur.
