I totally agree with you Andre’. Unfortunately I have your same problem and I couldn’t figure out a solution.

I’ll try to read that CharacterKeySets.vbs file Luc-Eric was talking about and maybe I’ll find more information

Subject: Scriping Character Key Sets

Hi!

I'm currently looking into moving our character workflow over to

Character Key Sets. So far I can't get any object model hook to that

thing, that applies to creating them as well as identifying them. I only

found this little piece of information in the docs:

"character key sets are implemented as normal CustomProperty

<CustomProperty.htm> sets where the Parameter <Parameter.htm>

"IsCharacterKeySet" is set to True."

Now, I cant get scripting access to this parameter on existing Character

Key Sets and Custom Properties, hence have no chance of identifying or

creating them using the object model. Did anyone get this to work apart

from working around with the few commands provided?

Besides that I'm really not into commands, some things just don't work

straight forward with those provided for the Character Key Sets, like

collecting them from a model selection only, etc...

Cheers!
