just to get on this train : ;)
I miss a great and useful feature removed in XSI 3.x , I think.
back in XSI 2.x , when using a Dual monitor layout, if you would setup
different panes/buttons in the secondary monitor,
for example you had a pane with an explorer in it, or a different pane
with a render tree for example, when you hit the 8 shortcut,
xsi would switch to the first pane it finds with an explorer in it, or
when hitting the 7 shortcut, it would switch to the first pane with
a rendertree in it.
since V3.x it stopped working, and it just opens up a floating window.
I miss this feature very much :)

Hi All,
Welcome to my daily 'Useful Features Now Removed in XSI 6' post.
Todays missing feature is, 'Rendering Sequence Progress Bar'.
In previous versions of XSI, when rendering, we had a progress bar
showing how much of the sequence had been rendered. This has,
mysteriously, been replaced with the Frame Progress Bar. When sitting
with a number of machines all rendering, it was very useful to be able
to visually scan all the monitors to see roughly how far each machine
had got. Now we can't.
Though the Frame Progress Bar is a very useful feature to have, I'm
not sure why the Sequence Progress Bar has gone?
...and that's then end of todays, 'Useful Features Now Removed in XSI
6' daily post.
as you were...
