Yes i had the same problem here but on Window 2K.
I used the old spm license server instead of the new License Manager of course with the XSI6.0 license keys and no problem anymore.
 
You have to get rid of the spm folder if it already exists,install the old spm license server, install XSI6.0 but when it asks for updating your license server of course you say no.
Load your new license keys and run XSI and it works fine.
 
AS to why....???? If anybody has any clue on that.

I try to install the spm of XSI 6 on a server with Win 2003 server...
ok for the install, but when i generate arequest code... the dongle is not reach...

Some of you have try to instal on win server 2003 ?

The error return by the generating request :

  can't open port IBU for dongle type "SI0".

The OS version :
version windows : Windows 2003 R2 server Standard
Microsoft Windows [version 5.2.3790]

The machine :
la machine : dell poweredge 2350
intel xeon 3.2ghz
ram 4 gb ddr2
