Well in that case, bones
will not help you because they cannot exit without effectors.
I presume you want to
animate in XSI and export clips to Massive, in which case, you can’t really
avoid the step of rigging the null or even chain hierarchy, so this is a
pipeline neceesity regardless.
May I ask why you are
going via Maya? Is it because XSI doesn’t export to Acclaim?

What’s the problem
with nulls? If you want an IK skeleton, then it’s simple enough to
write a script that builds a skeleton to conform to the null hierarchy and
apply the necessary constraints.

Hi all - trying to get an Agent Skeleton out of Massive into
XSI using Maya as a conduit and trying out the supplied plugin - but am getting
nulls in XSI instead of Bones - anyone know how to change this??
