With prior XSI versions, plugins needed to be build using a
specific version of gcc. With XSI 6.0, you can use 4.0.2 or
4.1.1 installed on the system. We are not distributing gcc/g++
anymore so gcc will be located at its standard location on
your system. Probably you do not have the gcc installed.

Hi,
I'm tried to compile some plugins in XSI 6.0 under Linux (fedora core
5). I execute gmake in a shell with enviroment variables of XSI 6.0.
And then gmake print the next errors:
'gmake: g++: Command not found'
'gmake: *** [run/magicWeights.so] Error 127'
I have observed that in XSI 5.11 the g++ compiler is in folder
"/usr/Softimage/XSI_5.11_QFE13/Application/mainwin/misc/linux/
gcc/fixed3/bin/",
but in XSI 6.0 the folder
"/usr/Softimage/XSI_6.0_QFE2/Application/mainwin/misc/linux/gcc" is
empty. ¿?
How can i do to compile mine plugins?
Thanks in advance,
Juan.
