Luc-Eric, I'm pretty sure the size does not save with the toolbar
layout. At least I have been entering these values manually in the XML
files for the last year or so to make custom toolbars pop up in a
convenient location with a reasonable size.
Steven, btw, the size parameters read like this: x and y of the upper
left corner, x and y of the lower right corner. You have to restart XSI
to see changes applied to the XML file, since it is only read once
during startup. Update All from the Plug-In Manager will not help.
Cheers

just a note : the size of windows in the XML is only used the first
time you open them,
after that it is remembered until XSI quits. If you save the layout,
it's saved in it

*Subject:* Size of toolbar...
I have been searching the archives and looked on the wiki but not
much luck. How can I set the size of my toolbar so when created it
is always the same size?
Looking at the XML, you can see
defaultsize="0,100,200,300"
but this doesn't seem to do anything when I modify this... right
now I am going to add a button called "resize" does just that for
my toolbar once it has been instanced.
thanks
Steven
