Realflow is a 3rd party app though, and even it's support of these type of sims isn't production ready.
While I agree, currently, unified dynamics is not their yet, not ready for the big time yet.
It does however look like the future.
 
I don't think I would be disappointed entirely if XSI didn't go in this direction, as long as they provided direction.
I think that is the key, being able to direct the simulation as much as possible. I think that really is the holy grail.
 
Increased directability of simulations would trump any unified dynamics system. At least in the short term.
UDS, again as I stated previously, are the future.
