save layout?

old habit from my animation master days, i like to keep a full-length
explorer window to the left of my main 4-view, like in the attached
image.

each time I restart xsi, it resets my main window to fullscreen,
meaning a loss of precious seconds while I arrange everything again.
any way to force xsi to save the window positions?

no its not important (but i thought i'd ask), yes i've laid it out
like maya, no, i'm not sorry.  ;)
