Rendering a region of your camera

Does anyone know its possible to render just a portion of the camera. 
Not in the view port but in the actual render. Can I set a region 
somewhere and then have it render all the frames but just within that 
region? Basically I need it to just fix a part of a render that screwed 
up instead of re-rendering the whole thing.
