Heres a headscratcher . try this

build a model, name it.. get a poly object, make child of model.. give child object the same name as the model.

shape > shape manager... duplicate the default clip a few times, or not.. switch from create to animate (within the shape manager)

The action resolution dialogue comes up, unable to connect the shape cluster to anything in the scene. Even forcibly connecting the cluster through the connection dialogue fails to solve the problem..

its a silly little bug.. I'm guessing an issue with similar naming conventions between model and geo.. the obvious answer is to make sure the two do not share the same names.. I'm more interested in why?

A few students were building shapes using the

Get>Primitive> model> body man

who has the name space

Man
  >Man

and thats when this issue popped up. No problem with this in 5.11
Wonder what changed with the shape manager in 6.0?
