You can write a simple command script.

Select your clusters
Select components
Inverse selection.

wouldn't that do the trick?

Hi I am using XSI 5.11

I am looking to create clusters for objects based on the areas that have no clusters.
So if I had a cylinder and it had 2 poly clusters one on both ends at the caps.
I would like to script  something that would create a new poly cluster for the mid section.

I need a little push in the right direction. I am not looking for code just a nudge..
