Dan-

I seem to be having no problem shape plotting your meshes!

1-Switch your scene to Secondary Shape Mode
2-Select 1 mesh
3-Plot Shape, using all default settings
4-Remove all operators from your stack that are not the cluster shape combiner

The results are matching a duplicate of the shape before applying the plot.
Try this on a scene, and let me know if it's working for you.

Thanks for the quick reply Bradley....however, it seems like I'm now worst case scenario mode..

I ran into the same issues on my last job. It happens when you have a lot of dependent operators on the stack, and your data result is read into the cache before the entire op stack is updated on the object.

Make sure that XSI is set to the highest work mode before running the shape plot. If that doesn't fix the problem, try creating a clone of the source mesh, and then running the shape plot on the clone.
If that still doesn't work, then you're in the worst case scenario. If you get there, let us know. There remain other, proprietary solutions that can repair the situation.

My dearest Ladies and Chaps...

I'm trying to plot the shape of an object which is enveloped and has 8 volume deformers on top of the envelope operator in the animation stack.  In addition to a Cluster Shape Combiner in the old Shape Modelling. Every time I plot the shape of this object the envelope and and shapes are plotted but not the volume deforms...

...I've also tried Point Oven and getting exactly the same result.

Has anyone got any ideas...anything! it's 11:15 at night and believe me it doesn't really get more urgent than this!

Thanks for your time
Dan Hope
