This was a bug in 6.0 which has been fixed in 6.01.
If you take the scene with the zillion scene render props and merge it into a fresh scene in 6.01, they should all go away.
The props in the existing scene are kept and the merged-in ones are thrown away. Same deal with render options properties.

I have a colleague who has merged a number of scenes together, which is something I usually don't do, I prefer to drag and drop models into a master scene..
the problem is that when merging the scenes, he gets multiple
Scene Render option properties
In the current scene there are about 150 of these nodes
We simply want to get rid of them..
Right click and delete does nothing.
No history is logged at all.
It's purely a housecleaning issue,
anyone have a hack to get rid of unwanted Scene Render Otion props?
