i have tried OBJ. but the polys collapse on them selfs. and some and some
other odd things with the geometry. is there a specific option in maya the
modeler needs to click. and i would have to reapply all the textures to all
the parts of the models?

you can export the .obj and just reapply the texture to the model in xsi

hello all
i am workin on a poject in which i have to import a maya file which has
been modeled and textured in maya to place it in the finishing scene in
XSI.
i am working with XSI 5.11 i have been told that there is a way other then
the cross walk in xsi 6 to import maya file to xsi. can any one give me
some direction with this. thanks
