Setting SRT mode on selection?

Subject : Setting SRT mode on selection?

Hello all,

Is there a way to give a control a default SRT mode?
For example if I pick a bone it will automatically always switch to
rotation in Add mode?
Nothing seems to get logged for this in the script editor.
