well said luc,
i agree 100% and i am SO happy that autokey doesnt effect the
camera. there are many cases where i have an animated camera in a
shot, but want to twaek a certain aspect of a character animation. so
i zoom in and orbit till i see it right, hit play and BUM i still
didnt lost my camera animations.
impossible in max and as far as i know not so easy in maya.

so just in case... i should definately be an option :)
