i was hoping to use the automatic opengl
texture reduction feature to reduce my texture memory footprint,
then simply point to reduced files with the external file manager.
the texture reduction is only triggered if the texture is visible in
the viewport, so only one texture is optomised per material.
is there any way to trigger this for every texture used in the scene?
not just the ones seen in the viewport?
worst case scenario im going to drag each clip onto a sphere in the
viewport.
