Hi Instead of using creat>polygonmesh>boolean, try Modify>polygonmesh>boolean.

keep your UV's while doing an animated boolean? no? since dr.boolean creates a new obj without any UV's. copy / gator / freeze and whatever is not working, applied on an animated boolean obj. and yez, nobody ever should do animated boolean..
