Don't know if this works. I think I started XSI before (put it in a file with
chmod +x):
#!/bin/bash
/usr/Softimage/XSI_6.01/Application/bin/xsi &
sleep 1
killall XSI
/usr/Softimage/XSI_6.01/Application/bin/xsi &
