fcheck supports sound... but in a wierd way. The sound is always
playing from frame one, even though you might playblast from frame 520
:)

I think that is where the problem lies if you are doing captures that
doesn't create a movie file. I said it before... I wish softimage
could release their own little movie format for linux (which is only
supported by xsi).
Back in the day with SGI they used to have their own little "mov"
format. Something like that is really needed for linux too.

Stefan,
I'm not in position to give you production experience of it, and will not
gain it in few weeks. I got it running straight away. Used vlc to play,
flipbook don't play audio as far as I know. Scrubbing in vlc is not a
pleasure. I would aswell like to hear if there is trouble with linux audio
captures in long run. Cause it works and worked also in 5.11 Diego is your
best source. What I can say I had alot trouble with capture before 5.x

Diego,
What sort of trouble you were having in 5.11? Simple things I did were
fine.

Back to fixing rigs...
