Did you removed the default pass or is your default pass in ntsc? Here removing the default pass locked the scene in ntsc, and if the defaut is in a format and the others in another format, the default pass setting will be applyed to all the passes when reloading the scene.......

each time i load up a certain scene, the render size is set to ntsc
instead of hd and the framebuffer settings returned to gauss....
