I eventually got around to installing XSI 6.01
(didn't want to update during project) and now XSI will not run, saying
"Error: there is no interactive license available to run XSI". Now I remember
several had similar problems back when most people installed 6, so I figure i
might get a quicker response from the list than from support. Also I read quite
a few of the posts and seem to recall that the solution was often trivial, which
is also why I ask here. And yes I installed the new SPM standalone on my
license server, it found my keyfile and it is up and running, and my production
machine can ping the license server. Do I need a new keyfile for 6 or is it
something else (Softimage support in DK is sparse)? Anybody have a good
suggestion or should I just sit and wait for support?
