importing 3ds on XSI64

Subject : importing 3ds on XSI64

Why on earth did Softimage take out "Import 3ds" in XSI 64bit?
You just can't find it in 64 bit!
Luckily I have a 32bit and a 64bit PC. Unluckily I have to go through
extra processes.
Why is it unplugged?
