Title: importing 3ds on XSI64
If I understood it correct, do you mean Autodesk
hasn't yet supplied
Soft with their 64bit version of 3ds import
plugin?
Too bad.
(You guys are crawling into bed while we're working our
head off on this side of the hemisphere!
It's already tomorrow here... :-}

Because the 3DS libraries we
use for the actual file import don't exist on 64-bit. If I'm not
mistaken, they come from Autodesk and are therefore a little bit out of our
jurisdiction :-(

Why on earth did Softimage take out "Import 3ds" in XSI
64bit?
You just can't find it in 64 bit!
Luckily I have a 32bit and a
64bit PC. Unluckily I have to go through
extra processes.
Why is it
unplugged?
TIA,
Eriya
