Subject : render selective object refraction only
Is there a way to render object A's secondary rays through object B which is in front but not render the rest of object B? I basically have an opaque object behind a transparent one. I want to render out the opaque object and render out its secondary ray through the foreground transparent object but not the rest of the transparent foreground object. I can render out two passes and do a comp of this but I was hoping to just render it out that way if possible. I thought this would be easy but I'm a bit blank at the moment.
