Ahh, Pattern Generator, that's what I was looking for!

Just a suggestion:

You know, it wouldn't hurt to either make a solid node
and place it in "image".  I am sure more than one
person has looked for it, or at least call it
"Solid/Pattern" I don't always start off with an image
input, or I need a blank/colored frame for a composite
trick.
