Subject : xxxx.xsiaddon.xml
Sometimes, when I D/L and addon, I end up with a file
named xxxx.xsiaddon.xml. No problem usually, I just
rename it, stripping off the .xml, installs no
problem.

Once in a while, no matter what I do, I can't change
the extension, windows just won't let me. It doesn't
do it in Firefox, if I right click on the link and
save as, it saves it with just an .xsiaddon extesion.
With Internet Explorer, doing the same operation only
gives me .XML as a save file type. Once I do that,
even after renaming the file, it's still listed as an
XML file and it won't install into XSI.

So the question is this, how do I save an addon as a
.xsiaddon file, or modify it so it's no longer listed
as an XLM file? Unfortunately, I can't install
firefox everyplace I work so I need another solution.
