If they really want to improve the use of netview then they should add submission into the plugin manager.
So I can select the plugin, right click and select Package to NetView. Fill in a few details and it pulls all the required files up there. Viola - next to no work to make your tools available to the community.

The same sort of thing should be done regarding tools, scripts and shaders.
Raise your hand if you've gone to a website only to find that a tool you wanted to use wasn't there anymore.
It would be nice if more people would also send their tools to the SoftImage website. Netview is a great resource, but it seems underutilized.
