I've been freelancing now for close to 5 years now,
and I haven't been to one studio that uses netview for
asset management

It's "funny" to hear that because here, the panel the most used by everybody after the OpenGL viewports is the netview. All the workflow and production management is accessible within the netview, and it seems so natural to me that I was convinced that a lot of compagnies used it too.
