Try deleting or moving si3dmain.GID in
\Softimage\XSI_5.11\Application\Help\en. (Make sure that hidden files
are visible.)
If standard users can't create that file in the help directory, then
WinHelp should create it in their personal settings folder and it should
run fine after that.
