Hi Stefan,

Can I suggest you take a look at linuxmint, pclinuxos or vectorlinux.
All of these have very good reputations for working out of the box
(many people consider them better than Ubuntu in that respect). Only
drawback is none of them have 64bit versions so far which means you'll
be running a 32bit os regardless of your machine.

Cheers,

Alan.

I did fill it in, but with the thought of what we use at work. So I listed FC5.

I think it would increase the userbase (supporting Ubuntu). But
perhaps only with a "tad" since... well let's be honest, we penguin
lovers aren't that many after all :)
But supporting Ubuntu would be a great step. My personal guess is that
MainWin is the theif that steals us the moment from using Ubuntu.

Better 64bit support would also be welcome.

I like Ubuntu because it finds absolutely everything in my computer.
Including my nVidia card, wireless card, wacom tablet... It's great!
Not even Windows had this good support.

regards
stefan
